About the Artist:

As a visual and imaginative artist, I work purely on impulse - inspired by events or scenes that maybe classed as sinister and dark as well as events and objects that promote colour.

My aim is to provoke the viewer to delve deep within the painting, perhaps observing or experiencing emotions that are not clearly apparent at first glance. I believe each painting should speak for itself - rather than to force an interpretation on the viewer.

I like to work mainly in acrylics and oils as they provide a great intensity of colour as well as diversity, but also work in pen and pencil for more illustrative drawings.
